Banning Ranch Owl
....have been trying to get a photograph of the elusive owls that hunt from the trees on the Newport Crest - Banning Ranch border. They normally will fly in at dusk and scout for sources of food. They have been very tough to photograph - poor light and they do not stay for long. This is not a very good photo, but I will keep on trying!!!!
Mosaic by local Huntington Beach artist Robin Lucca. More of her work may be seen at http://surfmosaics.com.
